Foreign bets join Cavite tourney

TWELVE foreign bets are set to arrive this week to participate in the annual "Cavite International 7-Cock Derby" on Dec. 1, 3 and 5 at the luxurious Cavite Coliseum. More than 100 local and international cockers are expected to join the three day cockfest. A total of 97 entries were registered last year. Among the foreign entries are Rep. Benjamin Sablan of Saipan who will field three entries, John Tenorio of Guam, Conrad Burgos of California, Tan Li Ong of Malaysia, Riochi Saito of Japan, Rene Azucena of Tennessee and Dan Gray of Alabama. A top prize of P2 million is at stake while entry is P30,000. For details, contact Ferdie Bautista at 046-970991 or 0918-5674921. Submission of weights is on Nov. 30, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
