LGBA 7-stag tilt final leg today

THE FOURTH and final leg of "LGBA 7-Stag Derby" gets going today at the Roligon Mega Cockpit. A total of 55 fights are lined up in the elimination round. The LGBA Breeder of the Year 2003 winner will be known after the finals on Thursday. Past winners in the LGBA derbies were entries Anito of Mauro Prieto (first leg), Banahaw 1 of Benjie Lim and Justice Magdangal Elma (second leg) and San Pablo Heat of Blandy Tolentino (third leg). Tolentino is the current leader in the LGBA Breeder of the Year with 18 points, followed by Prieto with 16.5 points. Meanwhile, registration is still ongoing in connection with promoter Rolly Ligon's "Apordabol Na, Incredibol Pa 5-Cock Derby" on Nov. 29, Dec. 6, 11 and 13. For an entry fee of P8,800, the guaranteed prize is P2.25 million plus an imported Nissan Serena for the fastest kill champion.
