Ucap, NCA big guns troop to Las Piñas

BIG-TIME cockers will converge at the new Las Piñas Cockpit this Friday for the JBB Blue Blade 5-Stag Derby to be hosted by United Cockers Association of the Philippines stalwart Sonny Lagon. Submission of weights is on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at LPC. Interested parties may call 873-1040. Coming in full force are members of Ucap and NCA, among them Stagfighter of the Year winners Butch Macasaet and former ambassador Danding Cojuangco, Patrick Antonio, Mayor Jessie Viceo, Gerry Ramos, Biboy Enriquez, Tony Lasala, Benjie Lim, Pol Estrellado, Gov. Ito Ynares, Rep. Rudy Albano, Mayor Nene Aguilar, Jet Fernado, Alex Tang and Ucap president Raymond Velayo. The entry fee is P55,000, with the guaranteed cash prize set at P1.5 million. A 5-cock derby is also slated at LPC on Dec. 13 to be hosted by Gerry Ramos.
