Exciting fights on tap in Pasay derby

MORE than 50 electrifying fights are scheduled in today's special 3-cock derby at the air-conditioned Pasay City Cockpit. Action starts promptly at 7 p.m. with Sagupaan Hammer, Sagupaan Mite Free and Sagupaan B-50 Forten as sponsors. The PCC management has put up a guranteed prize of P150,000 while entry fee is only P3,300. Awaiting the fastest winners (combined time) are the following prizes: 6 cu. ft. refrigerator for the winner, 21" color TV (second) and washing machine (third to fifth places). Meanwhile, pit managers Oscar Gonzales, Eric dela Rosa and Butchoy Olano yesterday announced the staging of another 3-cock derby on Nov. 7, also with a cash pot of P150,000. regular hackfights are held at PCC every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
