Ucap Stag derby final today

FIFTY-EIGHT matches spice up the 3rd UCAP 7-Stag Derby championship round today at the Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City. Newspaper publisher Butch Macasaet and former ambassador Danding Cojuangco, fresh off his victory in the NCA Stagfighter championship, are gunning for the Ucap Stagfighter award. Also seeking the title are Tony Lasala, hotelier Biboy Enriquez, Patrick Antonio, Dr. Ayong Lorenzo, Anthony Lim, Sonny Lagon, Jun and Rudy Jingco, Louie Cua, Gerry Ramos and Mayor Nene Aguilar. The Ucap Stagfighter winner will receive P300,000 plus a trophy, said Ucap president Raymond Velayo. From a field of 39, only two entries remained unbeaten after last Monday's 3-stag round. These are Arnis Master (Raymond Velayo) and BRPE Sagupaan lucky Dec. 20 (Boy Royo). Derby hosts are Jet Fernando of Pampanga and Alex Tang of Bicol. For inquiries, call 911-3101 and 911-2928.
