Stagfighter of the Year known today

BIGTIME cockers are expected to figure in a non-stop, slambang action in today's 3rd Ucap 7-Stag Derby at the fully-airconditioned Araneta Coliseum beginning at 5 p.m. A total of 63 fights will spice up today's derby to be hosted by Jet Fernando of Pampanga and Alex Tang of Bicol. The Ucap Stagfighter of the Year winner will also be known after this derby. Newspaper publisher Butch Macasaet and former Ambassador Danding Cojuangco, fresh from bagging the NCA Stagfighter plum, are among the top contenders for the Ucap Stagfighter award. Also in the hunt are hotelier Biboy Enriquez, Tony Lasala, sabong idol Patrick Antonio, Dr. Ayong Lorenzo. Anthony Lim, Sonny Lagon, Jun and Rudy Jingco, Louie Cua, Gerry Ramos and Mayor Nene Aguilar. For inquiries, call 911-3101 and 911-2928.
