Stagwars derby slated today

THE FOURTH leg of the NCA Stagwars 7-Stag Derby continues today at the Araneta Coliseum. Hosts are Mayor Nene Aguilar and Gerry Ramos. The early pacesetters are Mulawin A Jimafer of Rep. Rudy Albano and Swing I of Tony Tan and Jessie Viceo with three victories each. Patrick Antonio (Sagupaan Hammer I SP) and Frankie Uy (Colorado Mulawin) posted 2.5 points each. Meanwhile, the NCA Stagfighter of the Year winner will be known after the fifth leg on Oct. 13 and 15, to be hosted by Louie Cua and Tony Tan. The Stagfighter winner automatically qualifies to join the NCA Grand National Championship 8-Stag Derby on Nov. 10, 12 and 14. For inquiries, call 911-3101 and 911-2928.
