There's a lot, try Sam Caudle, Johnny Bennet, Bobby Jones, Paul Sparks, John Slavin
and a lot more. But Johnny's are a lot more decorated, it has been there for so long that
a small bedroom wouldn't be enough to fill the trophies won by his greys in the long knife. In fact, most of the frost greys other breders I mentioned came from Johnny himself. These breed is known to cut like hell in the break.
I hope this helps....

Frost Greys

Kim,

How are you my friend? There should be a lot of Filipinos maintaining this line or at least started infusing this line to their flock. It's just a matter of knowing where they sourced it. Mike Romulo has been posting his Bobby Manziel's Frosts in this site's gallery. As far as I know, Mayor Jesry Palmares has two families of Frost Greys, one came from Sam Caudle and the other from Bobby Fairchild. However, both families of Frost Greys came from Johnny Bennett of OK either purchased direct or from Paul Sparks who use to be Mr. Bennett's farmhand before going solo. Lancey dela Torre and Mayor Aguirre received some hens from Ricoy Palmares and are now in the process of experimenting this line with their Hulsey Greys.

Baby Teves of Dumaguete City has been breeding this blood from Mr. Bennett for a long time now but with mediocre success. I personally bred the hens I got from Mr. Teves eight years ago with the same Hulsey Grey blood with relative success as bullstags. You could also check from Romy Arciaga whom Paul Sparks had a business relationship gone bad with him and lastly, Paul Sparks' sponsor two years ago, Vic-Vic Yu. Anyhow, Kerry Lane Robertson fought against Bobby Fairchild at a recent Sunset main. He was leading 3-1 but was stopped by Bobby's Sweater Grey crosses.

These Greys are really good long knife chickens, off beat good cutters but needs more speed ang lateral agility to sustain the very demanding infighting trend in the Philippine long knife circuit. A cross with some power and speed blood will justify its inclusion in the long knife event. For more inside info, please contact Benjie Sarmiento a.k.a. Seascape, I am pretty sure he'll help you answer more questions.

Your friend,

Spangle

Thanks a lot my friend that was very informative one. Not only for me but also for our friends surfing in this website. Greys are really my weakness. In the cockpit I never bet against any grey, unless it is pitted against me or my friends. I am asking about this particular grey because a friend has given a broodstag and according to him this is a frost grey. Thanks a lot again and hape a good year.
