chicken dog in training got mine from craiglist for free 11 years old full blooded blue heeler this hope will scare some of the varmints that visit at night and hopely so does the bandits that steals chicken

I have a female mastiff that protects my yard. She has been with them since she was a pup. Have not lost a thing since she got some size on her.......i just crossed my fingers...lol

we have a dog (askal) that breaks off the fight when theres a rooster went out of the tie cord,and even try to call our feeder to his house buy barking,but the problem is whenever we sparr the chicken he always go to the middle to stop the sparring.

I have two great pyrenees dogs that I bought to protect my farm and they are some of the best dogs that I have ever had. I've had all kinds of dogs and they were all pretty good dogs but these are excellent guard dogs. I think I'm the only one in Hawaii with them. We showed my male dog in the annual show here and he did really well. These dogs are really good with the family also.

american bluetick english bluetick half wolf/half husky rip blackjack (american black and tan) the best chicken dog he has jumped a bear and ran him off and let 5 hens hatch in his house and protacted them all did not loose one of them |

This here is my Blue Heeler... She is out of excellent chicken stock, but was a little pain till around 2yrs old.

I got a female great pyrenees who will bite. Best chicken dog i own she will run a bird ,hawk till she cant see it. And a real guard dog.
Raised pups from her back to her son. Most made real chicken dogs. Alot of the females made guard dogs to. Have her son 3/4 her in lot. Hes a good one to. Mother runs on outside the chicken lot. |

Pyrenes, German Shepherd are two of the wellknown farm guard with exceptiopnal abilities. Rotts, Dobe are also good. Rhodesian S-back is a dream to me. If partnered with a Fox terrier, no rodents that may prey on your chicks will be found alive on your farm. That is, if the Rhodesian, Rotts,GS or Dobe will not catch him on the back.

I have 3 beagles on one farm and 6 on the other...they are good with chasing down rats and the females are good guard dogs.
