that last picture battle trimmed red cock, is he a pure sweater? im curious because my f1's are throwing that same color, red sweaters. mr nesmith is it true that the original blackwater sweaters were red not the orange or ponkan color? pls enlighten me.

I trimmed them out for show .one is a pure stewart yellow leg hatch.the other one is half sweater and half Hodskins yellow leg hatch. Both can be used as brood cocks.

No this rooster is our pure yellow leg stewart hatch. But my sweaters will throw red roosters but they are not that dark. If you have sweater 5k trio then you may get dark fowl like the one in the picture. Because they have the yellow leg hatch infused in their bloodline.

thank you for the reply mr nesmith, now i understand since my f1's came from 5k line parents. so that is a ylh stewart..still beautiful.

Gilmore (I forgot the marking, but the cock have a white speckled at the body)
Stewart YLH (Double Out)
