convert your file to .jpg file if you have extension other than .jpg (.gif and .bmp files usually use more bytes) or use microsoft paint to reduce bytes.

microsoft paint procedure:

open picture file
right click, then chose edit.
left click select.
then drag the pointer on desired pic.
right click to copy or cut.

jewell,

try your microsoft office tools...microsoft photo editor, and open your photo and edit...i found it to be very simple to use. Sa umpisa trial and error ka sa sizing, ganyan din ako tinuruan hahhaha.

btw, si Soseng nagturo sa akin nito.

i got your PM...have you found the microsoft photo editor? i am presuming you did..

once that program is open, click that "open yellow folder w/ an arrow pointed down" OR go to FILES and click OPEN.

You will asked where to look for your photo. find your file then..click IMAGE and RESIZE. you will see "arrow up and arrow down"...click on the arrow down till you get the size you want. If you notice, the width and the height is adjusted at the same time.

happy resizing.

Talking Listen to the others! :-)

Listen to those that have been there...

The picture from your digicam or scanned photo is at least 200K. That's too big for web applications (our pages are 20-100K max).

You can reduce them and make it web friendly Bahala ka na. It's a learning experience and something you can show and tell with your friends... HAha! Have fun!
