Wcs-2004

Bosing,

P.S.
Affiliated ba kayo sa (Sabongpress.com/Central US.)

More power,
Arnel

SMALLTIMER IS HANDICAPPED. . . .

Don't get me any wrong, my friend? I know, I'm just a juvenile in the game cocking world compare to you, but I can still differentiate a good videos from bad ones. Please let me explain my self so we can eliminate the confusions and miss understanding of what I'm trying to convey here, my man!

Years back, I've been searching for such videos for my collections. Yes, I have a few cockfighting tapes that I bought in Mexico (palenque) but that was least beyond my expectations, besides, I can't understand a word they are saying.

Back in late 2001 an o'l friend of mine from P.I. called me and told me about sabong.com.ph, added, he had purchased me a cockfighting tape direct from Araneta Collisium (World Cup Slasher-2001). The day I received those tapes, I called my friends to watch with me. I was impressed with its contents, so were my friends. The soundtracks, the slow mo's, the documentary footage, you name it, it was professionally done.

In 2002, I ordered my WCS direct from @ sabong.com.ph, it was even better than 2001 WCS, all my friends wanted a copy of it.

2003, I ordered my copy from sabongpress.com, not too sure if they were affiliated with sabong.com.ph. When I called, I spoke to a gentleman with a southern accent, but I forgot to ask him what state his was from, the only thing I know, he had those DVD's that I wanted. He also tried to offer me some other cock fighting documentary DVD's but I declined. When I received my DVD's I viewed them right away, some of the effects, were not there, and there was no sound even at high volume. I finished watching it with my friends, them too, were disappointed. (Sorry about this Bro!! but hey! just trying to express our feelings, still is a free country, I'nt it?) we were just watching a cockfighting scene, no sound. I said, probably due to an editing problem. Despite of that, it was still valuable to me as an addition to my collection.

What I was hoping for 2004 WSC was, if, that was an editing problem, I hope, I won't get the defective ones next time. And if, it was really intended to be like that, which I think not, just a suggestion, make it like 01 and 02 WCS, that's just my opinion.
Anyways, I am looking forward to watching 2004 WCS, what ever the out come is.

Again, I apologized, I am not trying to smear nor disgrace your ability to create quality videos or anything, and if, I happen to stepped on someone elses toes, that was not my intentions.
Besides, look at the brighter side, like what you have said, Bro! ! ! who wants to listen to a "Smalltimer" and of that "Handicapped" like me.

Lastly, I tried to call the guys over @ sabongpress.com and left several messages but no luck. What I was trying to imply here was, guys like me who works two jobs, who earns every penny with sweat, deserves better at that.

My main question really was, is sabong.com.ph affiliated with sabongpress.com?

Good day mate! ! !

Arrow Hi

Hello,

Did you check your audio cables? Left and Right (White and Red)? If they are in-place, then those "mute" things are production problems.

When you replicate several thousand discs, there will always be a few that are damaged or not done properly.

That is why we have a return policy. We will be glad to replace any defective discs. No problem with that.

But you have to let us know about it right away. Do not wait for a year to let us know. We cannot read minds.

I am sure Sabongpress has a good reason, but you have to get in-touch with them so you can talk.

I will point John to this thread so he can be informed of this situation.

And to answer your question, yes Sabongpress is our affliate in the US.

And one question sir: If you were shipped the DVDs, how come you do not know what state it came from? Surely there is a return address as Sabongpress is a SEC registered corporation in the USA.

Well, sorry for the inconvenience, and we sure would like to get this fixed. So please get in-touch with us. There are email links all over the site.

Thank you and regards.

What do you mean by a mute movie?

One with no sound at all or fights that don't have commentaries?

If your equipment are also new, like progressive scan types of DVD player and TV or Monitor, then they need to be connected via component video cables--the real one, those that have 5 connections (yellow, green, blue, etc.). That is truly for DVDs.

defective DVDs?

Arnel,

It seems you spoke to me, John Purdy, owner of Sabong Press USA. We are a distribution partner for sabong.net.ph and Rooster Content Online, Inc.

Since I also have a couple of jobs, chickens and kids, and we aren't often available to answer the phone, I can understand your frustration with customer service. However, if we can understand the phone number our callers leave on the answering machine, I call people back. I leave messages on machines, or with wives, kids, relatives... If there is no answer, I generally don't have time to call back. We also receive, read, and reply to email if we can recognize it as something other than spam.

Unlike the WSC 2001 and 2002, the WSC 2003 doesn't have an audio track for commentary. It does have a track for ambient crowd & pit noise. You should be able to hear the crowd and the roosters. If not, your DVDs are defective and Sabong Press USA will be happy to replace them.

As you have learned, the WSC 2004 has commentary that can be turned off or on.

Let me know if you have any additional comments or concerns.

The WSC 2004 is scheduled for shipping to customers approximately June 15, 2004.

Thanks,

John Purdy

Arnel,

Have some dealings with John Purdy and they are all good. I can say that he has an unquestionable integrity. Most probably the problem was on the disc itself. In my experience, I found out that the DVD medium is much sensitive compared to other media like the VHS tapes. Some of my customers have the same complainst with yours. Have yet to send replacements to others.

John,

Would you like to look at the quality of my new videos? Will send you some sample copies if you are interested.

Talking Sure...

Al,

Thanks for the support. Yes, DVDs are prone to give problems if they are not carefully handled and stored.

I would be very happy to see your latest work... I am sure it is great.

Just send to the business address:

Sabong Press USA
PO Box 1325
Frankfort, KY 40602

Thanks again.
