Salmonella Positive Breeding Stock

Once I have more than 50 Broodhens in my small farm until I found out that the hatching percentage and chick livability was going down. I talk to my vet and he told me just to keep on giving antibacterial medication. Frustrated that I cannot have a good professional advice I brought all my broodhens to the Laboratory. The result was: 54 BROODHENS WERE POSITIVE FOR SALMONELLA PULLORUM. MY QUESTION NOW IS: WHAT ANTIBIOTICS DO YOU SUGGEST?

ESB3. mix in water do this for 5 consecutive days and I give a b complex shot .3 cc

AnaKniPepe...I used ESB3 before bit didn't help. The hatching percentage is still very low and some of the chicks that survive become runt and grow slow.

I suggest that you submit your broodhens for a sensitivity testing in a diagnostic laboratory to arrive at an accurate treatment.
