Hi GD,
I met this guy from Georgetown,Tx and mentioned that he has that kind of breed. Dan Lamberts says it might be Carol Ibel.

I think you are referring to Rudy Ibele, 1998 Cocker of the Year at Sunrise. His farm is about 30 minutes from me and he is famous for his Greys. The Ibele's are long time cockers here in Mississippi. Carroll and Charlie Ibele are gaffers. I think they are all related.

I agree with ROADMAN167, you may be reffering to the Ibele Grays. I've asked around but I haven't met anyone locally (P.I)who has acquired stocks from him.

Golden Dragon,
Rudy Ibele is from Saucier Mississippi and his Greys are good in gaff. Maybe it can be used for the long knife when crossed to a speed strain.

Hi guys,

The best of Rudy Ibelle is Hatch, he inbreed it into 3 families Mclean, Ruble and Doc Robinson, he told me they can fight in the knife. Trio $500.00 young and $700.00 for old trio. Not bad ha!. he got some gull too.

The best time to reach Rudy Ibele is after 6PM US Central Standard Time at phone# 228-832-7912. His address is 12167 Spikes Road Saucier, MS 39574. He was cocker of the year 1998 at Sunrise.

Ibelle Greys

My uncle was lucky to acquire one. Medium station, light in color and has a lot of punching power. Offensive style.

I breed Ibele greys for years, They won me a lot of derby at copper state. The pure Ibele grey are broad back white or yellow leg ,straight comb and silver grey in color(No speck of red). The pure are very slow they don't break high but a lot of power (single stroker) but perfect cutter. They can take a steel and still fight the same...they are game to the core. They are good for look knife if you cross them to quality red birds. Im talking thru my experience. Rudy is a long time friend of mine. We go way back in the early 90's. He is a very nice man.. he will go out of his way to please his customer. Try to call him in the morning and talk chicken with him.

Rudy and Carol are brothers and they used to breed and fight under the Ibelle Brothers combine.
