Migrating to Canada

Hi guys, I just want to know your opinion about this, especially from our friends in Canada. Where is the best place to stay and what is the best business you can have. I mean, small time business lang.

Nothing to do with your question as I have not been to Canada my friend but if you are migrating to Canada, enjoy your last days in our beloved country since you will really missed it. As the old Hotdog song goes...."Maraming beses na kitang nilayasan. Iniwanan na, ibang pinuntahan...."

kimora,

Depending on what you have done sa far and what you really like to do....that should be the basis of your intended business.

Vancouver...west coast for the weather and proximity to the Phil.

Edmonton/Calgary for friendly people, per experience.

Toronto for opportunities.

gensoriano,

very true

Ito rin ang one of the best cities in the world for five years in a row.

kimora,

Toronto is the cleanest and safest kaya lang walang sabong-....meron ......patago lang.

Di gaya ng mga ibang lugal katulad ng Saudi- dito sa Toronto you will be proud being a Filipino.

so Good Luck and God Bless You and your family...

Kim,

Anyway, marami akong kilala na nag excel dito sa Toronto sa sumusunod;

1. Contract cleaners
2. Franchise owner ng Mc Do, Tim Horton at gasoline sta.
3. Asian Grocery
4. Filipino restaurant.
5. Door to door (Freight Forwarders)
6. Automotive repairs shop
7. Building Maintenance sub Contractors
At marami pang iba.

Good luck

Thanks a lot

Maraming salamat sainyong lahat mga kaibigan. Oplod, Beecool, Virgilio, Jadurson and Torpas. "GOAT MASTER", kambingan blues, hehehe.

Thanks Vir

kim,

i have a friend in Vancouver.

goodluck sa inyo. just like you we're also planning on migrating. para syempre sa kinabukasan ng anak ko.

So good luck sana matuloy ka, for the good future of your children.

Welcome to Canada.

TO ALL FIL-CAN:

I have been planning to migrate to Canada with my family for years now but still don't have the gut to do it.

My concerns are the following;

1. I have no close relative in Canada
2. I learned that an immigrant pay at least 30% in tax
3. What would be the starting salary per month for a computer related job?
4. How much do I need to migrate?
5. How long will I wait until I get a visa?

HELP!!!

bvhal331,

the site carries the info you need. it has links to employment centre etc.

if you want added info, i will recommend a good immigration consultant.

Hi Solraya,

Thanks for your reply. Actually, I've been to the web site before. However, most of the information are in general form. What I need are information from the immigrants themselves who are in Canada for years. I mean their actual experiences.

Thanks again.
