Can somebody contact me about derbys in Tijuana,I am very interested in competing there but I am unshure who to contact to make arrangments...YFIS RNoer

Rnoer I sent you an email earlier with the following instructions:

There is going to be a derby today at Parque Morelos. If you go I can introduce you to Mr. Urrea who is the person in charge of the Tijuana Gamefowl Breeders Association. He can give you all the info you need and you will be able to see the facilities.

Best way to get there to go to downtown Tijuana From San Ysidro as you exit the US stay to the left this will take you to downtwon Tijuana on 3rd street once you are on Third ( a one way street) turn right and go down a block to 2nd street (also a one way street) and take it about 3 miles down to where there is a COSTCO and a HOME DEPOT (yes in TIjuana) After you pass the costco you will go under a bridge take teh second (2nd) exit to Boulevard Isurgentes street go down about 2 miles and you will see Parque Morelos ( a big park on the right side of the street go all the way to the end of the park on Boulevard Insurgentes and make a right at the street at the end of the Park the Palenque (game pit) is about two blocks from the corner to your right right across from a shopping center where there is a Walmart (the only walmart in Tijuana)

or the easy way if you don't want to drive accross take the 5 or the 805 to the last US exit. find a parking lot on the US side of the border walk across and take a taxi (red and orange taxis are cheaper than yellow) for less than twenty ($20) they will take up to 4 people to Parque Morelos Takes 15 minutes to get there from the border. Ask the taxi driver to take you to Parque Morelos or to Walmart whicxh is across the street from the pit. If I don't see you there I will email the requested info.

April 28 derby has been cancelled the pit is being used that day for a big charity event all the other events in schdule will go on as planned.
