Your impression of Philippine fowl?
Hello Mr. Nesmith! (or NeSmith? I see it spelled both ways and I don't want to offend...)
I would like to know what your impression is of Philippine fowl. Aside from the Sweaters you helped popularize, do you think the products of Filipino breeders could hold their own outside of the Philippines? And if there were one strain of gamefowl in the Philippines you could take back to the US to breed, what would it be? YFIS, Glenn |

I'm not avoiding this ?, I'll answer it at a later time, I've got to go mark new babies now, and I want to be able to concentrate on this one.

Re: Your impression of Philippine fowl?
In PI there are many great breeders. Yes they could hold their own but the climate will have a negative affect on the birds and I feel like it would take several years of traveling with the birds to U.S. or Mexico to be able to fine tune the pointing of the fowl. As for which breed I would bring back to breed, it would be a combination of several, not just one.
