heto bahagi ko sa dag dag kaalaman, ang shamo at asil ay mag kaiba.hindi sila parehong oriental, asil are ground fighter,shamo are flyer,asil need lower points, shamo need higher point, asil are poor layer, shamo are good layer,shamo can take a lot of cold weather, asil love the hot weather.the shamo had the reach and height advantage if you match over to asil (same lbs.)
the best shamo is the coal black KOYAMA japs,with legs like iron and spurs that are 3/4 of an inch thick.they can smash a cocks skull and break his neck in one buckle |

yung allen roundhead mababasa mo ang history nito sa pitmaster.com punta ka sa history of gamefowl strains. yung lacy roundhead naman ay punta ka sa sabong.com.ph nakalagay dun ang history ng lacy roundhead ni judge lacy. ang boston roundhead naman ay hindi ko pa nabasa ang kanilang origin. pero try mo sa gamefowl.net baka meron dun akong nakaligtaan. sa pagkakaalam ko ang lacy roundhead ay product ng boston roundhead, na-infusan lang ng ibang dugo kung kayat naiba ang kulay ng paa pero paminsan-minsan may throwback na yellow legs ang lacy roundhead dahil siguro sa dugo nitong boston roundhead.

Just wondering..I thought "roundheads", as i've come across my readings about history of gamestrains, was a synonym used in reference to all strains of gamefowls that has peacomb--because if you'll observe most peacombs has a more "rounded" head appearance.
No offense intended also, but i thought "Asil" is synonymous to "oriental gamefowl" strains if i'm not mistaken..hense there's Jap, Indian, Shamo and Sumatra's all refered to as 'Asils'. The original Albany's originated from upstate New York. the original Albanys was straight combed, red, pearl legged fowls. They are a favorite among gaff breeders primarily for their "bittergameness", 'heart' as reffered to. As pure they were described as "useless" in any heel(weapon), due to their poor fighting style. So what ever attributes we see on the 'Albanys' of today is a reflection of what the breeder has infused to create his strain.:hippie: |
