Bakit completo yata ang hairdooo ko dito sa picture na to, ha ha. Anyway, mga pren if we are still planning to attend the July Texoma Derby here's the email from my contact in North Carolina. It's up to you guys to decide and give me your input so that we can reserve our Hotel Room early.

I am familiar with the Hawaiian Derby in Texoma in the months of July as I used to frequent there some years ago. We might see each other there, because 2 weeks ago my friend Gordon (in the Carolina/Tenn. mountains) suggested we go and visit our mutual friend in Oklahoma who won the cocker of the year at Texoma, I believe last year or a year ago. If you and your cyberfriends want to finance a derby, I would recommend my friend Joe to you. He's got the old line Albany and YL Hatch. As for the motels, I would strongly suggest to book now because you won't be able to find one within a 20 mile radius at derby time. Tell me if you need Joe's phone number now so he may be able to help you from that end. If it was only you and Gordon I think we could stay at Joe's house, but more than that will be a problem considering the size of his house which is very small. At any rate, please do let me know how I can help.

Count me in Sonny. It's about time we get together and do something like this. All we need is the exact dates so we can schedule our "leave dates" for June. Hotel reservation is a must and I can say that I'll need a room.
We need to plan this ASAP since time goes really fast around here. Who would like to head this event?

I should be the one to thank you guys for showing up and for the priveledge of meeting each one of you for the ist time. It's was a great pleasure for us to host our kitakits and get acquainted. It would have been much better if we sparred (bitaw) some of the stags.
As far as the planned excursion to Oklahoma, we will formulate our stragedy when I returned from P.I.
The pictures look great. The young sabungeros look much better but the older ones are good looking also. Sonny can hook us up with his contacts and we'll go from there.

Ayan na mga "Friends in Sport", reserve na tayo ngayon para sigurado ang participation sa ating next mission. For Hotel reservation, Sonny can use my VISA to hold the rooms we need.
I will need one room for me and my financer.
We have until June to plan so save your vacation time for that event. As soon as Sonny posted the exact dates I will circle those days as reserved. I think 2 to 3 days is normal for a derby of that size. So don't hesitate now, join in and get involve.
CF of San Diego will lead in Sabong Sport in this part of the world. (Goals & Vision for New year)

Guys, here's the schedule for the long weekend HawaiianTexoma derby sent by my freind Pokey Stover. This derby is a combination of long knife and Mexican short knife with same option and one pot
winner take all. This is more interesting to watch specially for those who have not seen short knife fight. Same house rules
applies. I suggest we leave on the end of June which is Wenesday and make room reservation for three days (thursday Friday and Saturday) which is the 1st-2nd and 3rd July. This is more ideal for us to have cessation after the long drive since the 5th (monday) is a Holliday. Make your plans now and let me know how many rooms we need.

I got the Texoma schedule out and the Hawaiian derby will be July 1-2-3 with two pre-lims and then the 7-cock. all LK/SK - no gaffs but they did add short knife which is about to take over here in OK. Very few long knife entries in the combo derbies where they can fight any weapon.
Will be anxious to see you.

Thanks a lot Sonny for posting the dates. We can schedule our leave dates for the 1st week of July. All we need now is the show of hands for those attending.
Tentatively, we should have at least 6 to 8 participants which will require one 10 passenger van. Everything else will be plan accordingly as the date approaches. Hotel room reservation by next month.
This is an opportunity to experience sabong "stateside". Also an avenue to select "seed fowl" since we will witness first hand their fighting styles. Sugod na mga kapatid.
