We are bringing back the Sabong Internet Marketplace.

We have implemented these changes in order to:

• Generate a nominal income from sellers on this website.
• Offer a certain degree of accreditation to minimize chances of fraudulent experiences of Internet buyers.
• Offer a certain degree of protection to buyers

Accredited Merchant Privileges:Only accredited merchants will be able to do the following in the MarketPlace forums:

1. Start new threads and upload attachments (presumably for photos and other documents). Merchants will start a thread to announce the sale of particular products/services.

All registered users will be able to reply to threads (presumably product inquiries) as well as download attachments.

Merchant Accreditation Guidelines

1. Payment of Merchant Fee: P20,000/year
   
2. Submit the following documents (photo copies):
   * Valid PhotoID. Drivers License or Passport.
   * Business Registration (if applicable).
   * Personal Contact information (all information required): (Full Name, Passport Photo, Complete Address, Telephone Number)
   * Product/Service information. List of products and services you intend to sell on the Sabong Marketplace, with suggested retail prices.
   * Character reference. (A person we can call or e-mail to verify basic information about the seller). Can also include testimonials (for example, from registered Sabong members).
   *Note Please indicate the best time to call to verify your information.
   
3. All interested parties please send your credentials to :

   After your credentials are verified, we will send instructions on how to send the Merchant Fee.

Marketplace Policy By introducing merchant accreditation, we anticipate that fraudulent transactions will be avoided. As well, we anticipate that Merchants will experience increased sales because of increased buyer confidence.

However, because of the nature of the Internet, we shall maintain a policy still of "Buyer Beware". We do not offer guarantees on transactions as we do not hold the goods and process payments.

Sabong.net.Ph shall not be a court to arbitrate disputes. If disputes shall arise, those will probably be comprised of minor details that can be resolved amicably by both seller and buyer.

I will support this site/place... I think that is a reasonable price to those who used the market place for their ads since they would sell thousands of pesos for their goods... Just an opinion...

I am glad that it's back and it's guidelines that will help protect buyers from fradaulent transactions that may arise in between.

There are a lot of advertizers who want to sell their produce as what i've seen in the past. The 1200pesos (or it's equivalent) is minimal for big advertizers. This will enable them to advertize without much competition from small advertizers.

There are advertizers that wants to sell only some of their produce. If they will be charged the same as those advertizers that will be selling their stuffs the whole year round, they will be in great disadvantage.

I suggest that the ones who will advertize products that will last short in the advertizing market will be pro-rated from the current charges you are asking.
