GD ENTRANCE POLICY
-CF’s without entries will be asked to PAY. The payment will be considered as their contribution to our charity.
-ENTRANCE RATES are 500 PHP for the Lower Level and 400 PHP for the Upper Level
-Each entry is allowed FREE Entrance for 3 pax (owner and 2 guests) and FREE Entrance for 3 Staff (1 gaffer and 2 handlers only)
-The Gate Guards are specifically instructed to be VERY, VERY STRICT.

•GD – OTHER DETAILS
-Weighing in will start 6:00 am. Phoned-in weights will not be entertained. Only Actual weights will be accepted. Bring your fowls for weigh-in from 6:00 am to 12:00 noon.
-Fight to start at 4:00 PM sharp. First 10 fights to be announced by 3:00 PM
-Mandatory declaration of BET AMOUNTS for the FIRST FIGHT only. This will speed up our initial matches. Non declaration of first fight BETS will be squared at minimum (5.5k – 11k) only.
-Bad Weight is 35 grams and Penalty is 2,500 PHP.
-Change Cock is 55 grams and Penalty is 5,000 PHP
-Delaying the Fights penalty is 2,500 PHP. chili_SM will discuss the pit policy on this later.
-In view of the number of internet based entries , it will be very difficult to impose NO FIGHT requests. As such it is likely that you will meet up with your friends in one or two of your matches. Be that as it may, the matching committee will try to accommodate your requests the best way they can.. AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.
-Cockhouse reservation and its assignment will be handled by gamecock96 and jlbs72. Due to the number of entries, you might be sharing cockhouses with your fellow CF’s or sabong.net friends.
-The event will be video taped. Chito to take charge in hiring the video coverage team. All entries will be given a free VCD copy. Pls note that we cannot record this in DVD. No editing will be done , copies will be given as recorded. Sales of the VCD to be discussed and decided after the event.
-The Fastest Win prize proposal is scrapped in view of the difficulty in monitoring and implementation.
-Berong Javellana will be hired as one of the Sentenciadors
-Trophies for all champions will be given. TBS assigned to source.

Some thoughts on Global Derby

In San Mateo Cockpit, we start derbies late. In fact, the CF Stag Derby was our first derby to start at 6 pm. Then, last Dec 19, we started the UBBA Derby before 5 pm. But, With the numerous expected entries this time, we will really have to start at 4 pm or earlier. CFs, try to come early... you avoid the traffic , get to talk with your fellow Cfs, see their entries, get your birds rested more and perhaps, avoid the late fight penalties, di ba
If locals and CFs have the same number of entries, and the weights evnly distributed, then we can minimize fellow-CF fights. My locals too wud prefer to match vs new faces. But sometimes, these are inevitable. Say, for example, only CFs have birds at 1.800 to 1.900 kgs, then it will just have to be friendly fights, with perhaps minimum bets, as what good pals TBS and Roy Malalim did when their birds met at the last UBBA derby, despite having 63 entries then.

Berong has agreed to referee this GD, together with familiar faces JonJon and Bubut of Mandaluyong.

No Check Payments, please. Its a distraction that can be also embarassing. In San Mateo, there is a CASH ONLY POLICY.

As with the GK, don't bring guns.. There's also a Comelec ban. Feel at home, CFs. and among friends... you need only bring yourselves and your birds and enjoy this once-a-year derby for charity.

I just want to clarify these;

Do all participating entries will be weighed by the house scale and be legbanded by them?

Can a participating entry submit his/her weight in person (and his/her discretion to legband or not his entry) as long it is done face to face to the organizers of this derby and not just being telephoned?

Boss Chito,

Napakagandang rule yang Delay of Fight Penalty na yan. I wish it will be practiced in derbies everywhere.

Andami ko nang bad experience dyan being always ready but the opponent says wala pa si financer. So the cock end up off point when the delays add up together.

OK. No phoned weights permitted.

Entries can submit their weights personally (without being weighed by the house scales and their discretion to legband or not ) on or before 12pm, the day of the fight.

I, and most of us, know that submission of weights do always have lies.

I just hope that everyone can help make this derby as good, if not better, from any previous derbies and may set a precedent to all derbies that may come, a true gentleman's game.
