I volunteered to help to facilitate the tupada in the GK. Now, i have a question for those who are planning to fight or bet in the said event. A lot of questions has propped up whether to fight bayongs, bring your own bayongs, bring quality chickens etc. etc. Each and everyone of the choices has to be checked. For example, if you bring your own bayong, we will have a committee to accept or reject candidates. If we decide to use bayongs from Chito (that we have to pay for), then we do not really know how they all fight, although pare parehas silang bayong. Now if we bring our own quality roosters, baka naman mapuno ang GK ng mga handler at mananari (as much as possible kung ang mapipili ay laban na lang ng tunay na manok, sana eh ang may ari ang mag handle ng manok at maraming mananari dun na di na ninyo kailangan magdala pa ng sarili nyong mananari). Because of this, i want the participants to decide which one they think is best.

Bayongs and tupadas are supposed to be fun and entertaining without being heavy on the pocket. I know there are some tupadas where bets can be Araneta-sized but should this happen to our own tupada?

Quality chickens and a good sized bet should be for the cockpit, the SM cockpit is nearby.

I propose that either we buy the bayong from Chito's collection of bayong fowls or the original idea that the chickens be sold for 1,000 pesos fought or not fought (through lottery so no loop holes).

If not then this might turn out to be a mini-GD in itself.

I think the best way is to cap the bet to five thou five and can enter only two cocks. I want to learn how to put the knife myself and this is the chance for me to do it. Bring your own or buy from bayong is your choice as long as the bet don't exceed the limit. This event is enough to satisfy my cravings until the GD. Just my humble opinion.
I need to know the rules asap since I have a few stags I want to test on that day.

2. Laban na lang tayo ng quality na manok pero wala akong dadalhin na handler at gaffer to limit non CF in the GK??

Same na lang last year, dampot-dampot ng bayongs around, pag nagkakursunadahan tuloy ang laban. Limit na lang pusta at mga bakas bakas para masaya. The purpose is to have a goodtime and clean fun in hacks, mahirap nang pagpawisan. ang talunan Habol ng habol para makabawi kasi malaki ang natalo :lol:

I think this is the way it should be- kasiyahan lang katulad ng dati. Bayong na lang ni Chito but this time dapat bayaran ang manok dahil hindi yata tayo nagbayad last year. At maliit lang dapat ang pusta para tunay na kasiyahan lang. Tama si Roy, yung quality cocks ay dalhin na lang SM cockpit, lahat pa tayo pwedeng pumusta. Better also for Chito's biosecurity dahil walang bagong manok papasok sa yard niya.

Sa akin, since pare parehong bayong naman maglalaban, siguradong pinaka mabuti ay timbangan. Pero kung gusto maglaban ng kahit na tinginan lang, pwede rin siguro kasi katuwaan lang naman dapat ito eh. I take it that ang susundin natin ay yung bayongs will be furnished by Chito?? Siguro nga mas mabuti yun para wala na ring abala sa pagdadala ng manok
