if your in davao city right now, i recommend you get fowls from mr. abdul aquino. i'm not sure if his selling his gamebirds but i can assure you he got one of the toughest gamecocks in mindanao.

farm?? i know there are some farms there but not really advertise so i suggest you go to the sabungans and watch derby participants bearing a gamefarm name title then try to approach!

i know of someone in davao, just started doing backyard breeding but his fowls are of high quality from source.

he haven't tested his gladiators there yet but as i honestly know his broodstock came from a big timer in manila. his broodcocks, to my knowledge are araneta veterans.

bloodlines that i know: dink fair sweater, lacy houndhead, oscar akins grey, and hatch. also next month coming are all imported broodstocks: ohatchee grey, hatch, jumper radio, kelso.

by the way happy landing/cocking in (lunsod na hinihirang) davao next year. God Bless Us All....

i got my 3 stags at PhP10,000 plus 1 hen ready to breed. My stags ages from 7 - 9 months. I want to buy stag so that i can monitor their performance as they grow old (ready to fight). U may think its kinda expensive but for me, i get the best stuff. All i want for a cock was present. High breaking, good cutting and very defensive(moving from side to side). Because of der youngness so to speak, der are very aggressive and cocky but eventually, their fighting style will change given some amount of time. You can always negotiate if you want or even not buying his fowls if you dont like their fighting style. Knowing their fighting style is always part of buying good high quality stocks.

You know, I seldom go u sabungan and if i do, just to test my fowls. You can also try TPR gamefarm.The Rodrigues farm I dont know where in Davao but I've heard they will be participating in Araw ng Davao.....Cheers

I bought some gamefowls from Mr. Paul Dominguez thru my brother's officemate last August. My brother said Mr. Dominguez is very accomodating and nice to talk with. He tour my brother to at least 2 of his farms there in Davao. He even gave my brother a bonus/extra cock. Haven't tried those in the pit but they willl be when I get home. Sorry, guys, I don't have his contact number nor the exact location of his farm.

If you are you happen to be in Davao this week try to attend the 5-cock derby at Casino-Filipino Davao in Jan. 21. Most of Davao's breeders will be participating.

This coming July try to inquire from Dado (Tel. #: (0917) 700-7913, owner of AAD Farm about his Kelso and other breeds like Brunner Roundheads, Blue Band (maybe crosses only) and Hatch. Dado might be able to help you also with contact nos. of other breeders from Davao.
