Cavite Int'l derby semis begins today

MORE than 70 fights are lined up in today's semifinal round of the Cavite 7-Cock International Derby at the Cebu Coliseum. Pit action starts at 6 p.m. The event, sponsored by Pagcor and Casino Filipino-Parañaque and hosted by Sen. Ramon Revilla , Rudy Salud, Vice Mayor Nestor Mercado, Lito Orillaza and William Co, opened last Monday before an overflow crowd. Among those with two victories were the entries of US Cocker of the Year Brian Coskren and Kris Chappel (Brian and Chappel Alabama), 2003 World Slasher champ Matt Bitanga (Golden Circle ll), Gov. Ito Yñares and former ambassador Danding Cojuangco (Binangonan Balbina), Jun Topacio (JT Emerald), Orillaza (Winning Time Jobo) and Estrangero entry. Coliseum Manger Roger del Rosario said 25 new entries will plunge into action today (four fights each). At stake is a P2 million prize, and a trophy courtesy of Revilla. I remembered last year was in Cavite, cuz I was there I saw alot of good fights and big time cockers and breeders , too bad I didn't make it this time, i missed a lot of action and fun...Who will be the champion/s this time?????Good Luck to all
