Forget muna natin ang sabong kasi wala na naman derbies, lugon ang mga nokma ni Kidd at Edwin, kaya we can play chess as our second hobby para naman ma-exercise naman ang ating mind kung alin ang best combination na cross breeding sa ating mga broodstocks.What can you say about this Kidd.. Oh! game na. Kidd ikaw ang first kalaban ko sa chess..

I'm in Astro! Pero eto tignan mo. Kung ganyang style ang chess, sinong hindi gagamit ng computer-player-analyzer samantalang hindi mo nakikita ang kalaro at no time limit ang laban.

I play chess...at MSN.zone.com. I only play 5-minute chess on web due to the same reason above. Even on 10-minute chess, players can "cheat" at the web. So, no dice...however, if anyone wants to play my way...let's meet at the Zone. My login there is zraulo and/or ba2gun...hehehe.

Kidd and Astro tell me the time and we can play at Yahoo my handle is still the same Oplod. I also play in MSN but Yahoo is better because it's rated.

Mga pare, ang MSN din merong rating sa Grandmaster at Knights boards. There are about 7 boards...more then what I mentioned are rated yata. Not so sure sa ngayon as I only play in those two. Naglaro na si Kasparov duon VS the "world." Input kaming lahat na registered members ng vote na move namin, the most vote wins--it's the world's move...each day ito, alternately with million-eyed Kas. We have young GM advisers, all very promising from all over the world too...also, seem like everyone, just about, was using computer-chess, and yet we lost--yes, the world lost to Kas. After more than a month of play...was very exciting too...imagine having experienced "to play" Kas...hehehe.

Well, I'm not a grandmaster...hehehe, I just like 5-min chess--if not actual face-to-face game...30 minutes will do if it is.

I also have a software that I only win whenever I assigned it a second to think whereas I have all the time in the world as I want. Even if that is the situation, I seldomly wins on this man-created software...my third bought...my best so far. Not a very effective learning tool too, just good for practice if no human to play with that has about not too far or same rating as me. For me chess is human, a very punishing game too.

The three of us have very contrasting time-zones...but, like Oplod said, if we can arrange an exact time to meet and play at the web, be it Yahoo or MSN, let's have a good friendly game!...anybody else?

Mang Amboy, is a chess player too. I just can't remember who among them (six brothers) I was playing with- back in the Philippines. but I'm sure all of them plays chess because there's a barbers shop near their place (E. Lopez) that Phil.National masters visits and play there. like Torre,Parra,chong,Sungquit,
Atutubo, and Senador.

When I was operating a Karate school in down town Iloilo (1983) since I occupy half of the sixth floor of the Kahirup Bldg. and there are hours that the gym is empty, I used to host a chess tournament. Oh boy! it's an easy fund raising we got hundreds of participants. Here in Canada-it's only these past three years that the participants is already crowding the tournaments, last 1996 it's not as crowded as that-

oplod, si manuel senador fide master na at mga tatlong beses nang napasama sa world chess olympiad representing the philippines. manila, somewhere in russia and middle east olympiads. producto lang to ng barbershop ni pete's hhehhehe. i passed by there about a couple of years ago and i met senador ang mang pete. mang pete looks so old already and has difficulty with his vision but amazingly he still do some barbering. he can barely recognize me anymore. it took a lot of recollections before he remembered me and the first time he recollected was that i always give him a rook advantage when we play.... ba medyo magaling din yata ako noon dahil nangbibigay din pala ako ng rook hehehhehe. tayo yong palaging naglalaro noon. talo kayo noong magtournament tayo sa bahay ninyo dahil madaya yong mga taga roon sa kabila't nagpapatalo sa mga kasama. nalasing kami roon sa pot money natin hehehhehe

Kidd, Oplod dihens ako marunong gumamit ng CMO. So don't worry no cheating ito. One move per day. So if you have a CMO I don't mind if you use it.I you do I will try to buy one also. Oh. anong say mo. So you prefer a blitz game. Okay ako diyan, doon tayo maglaro sa GK. I have played a blitz game alraedy in Hong Kong before and I was crowned as the Champion. Oh.. takot ka na ba? Joke lang iyon. Okay.

Maganda rin talaga maglaro ng chess sa farm...yan eh kung nagbabantay ka lang, katanghalian at kainitan. Sa papag, sa silong ng mangga. Sa GK, nakow, wala tayong oras maglaro...maliban lang kung merong timer. Papaano tayo maglalaro ng blitz kung walang timer. So, Astro, dala kang timer ha!

pare Astro, v-ro lang...'kaw naman. Ikaw kasi ang hindi bisi diyan lagi...sleepless nights kasi walang room mate...hehehe. Kami ni Oplod meron...lahat tayo merong trabahar din naman. Nuong di pa ko Broodcock at ang CyberFriends ay hindi pa organized na tulad nito, marami akong oras mag-chess sa web. Ngayon, simula nuong i-plano yung Roligon derby, aba eh nakuha na ng CyberFriends yung oras kong mag-chess. That shows mas importante sa akin ang CyberFriends...naks...hehehe.

Anyway, I will play you right away as soon as I see you at the GK...best of 3, timer or no timer.
